As a participant, Here’s what you can expect.
Your summer is going to be oriented around 3 key experiences that will take place throughout the summer. These experiences (don’t even bother asking – surprise, surprise ☺) are designed to help you understand yourself, your relationship with Christ and your fellow participants and staff better. In addition we will experience training and development times twice a week where leaders and speakers from all over the country will come in to help you develop in your walk with Christ and in understanding your role in the church. Finally, one day a week we will spend together, either on those three experiences or doing any number of other things. We can assure you; you will have fun, be challenged, and no two weeks will be the same!

You’ll be living and working just off of the amazing Atlantic Ocean in Virginia Beach
- You will be spending 10 weeks living one block from the beach
- You will interact daily with visitors from all over the world
You’ll be deepening your personal faith in Christ:
- Strengthening your faith through regular times of prayer and study in your nice condo, at the beach or by the pool that will be about 15 feet from your door – tough choices ☺
- Being stretched in personal discipline and character, as you tackle the responsibilities of the program
- Cultivating a dynamic vision for your life
You’ll be experiencing authentic Christian community:
- Learning how to more effectively live out your faith in community as you live and work with fellow Christians in a caring and supportive environment
- Deepening relationships with other participants and staff as we share our lives and team up together in ministry
- Beginning to understand your gifts, skills, experiences, and attitudes that you will use to serve the Lord in your careers and in the church
You’ll have unique outreach opportunities
- Creative Beach outreach
- Opportunities to connect with other college students
- Interacting with people from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds
- Building deep relationships with your co-workers and those in the community
